I first met Gareth in Norwich 40 years ago and as a teenage boy I would often stay with Gareth and Shirl when my mum was away. The kindness they showed me will stay with me forever and I loved every second in their company. We would spend weekends at Conley Athletic matches, pubs and the curry house. Gareth was a thoughtful, generous and incredibly funny person and will always remain one of the most influential people in my life. My thoughts and love are with Shirley and the family. RIP Gal ❤️
