Gareth was just a gorgeous man. I only knew him for a couple of years 1977-8 but he was someone whose whole character showed in his face - intelligent, kind, full of life, hilarious, sincere. He was one of a kind. I did not know what a truly great man he continued to be until now. Happy happy memories of Tequila Sunrises in the upstairs bar at Captain America's & Norfolk Sunrises at College Road when it never seemed to get light - bring on the light!
