Anne so 30th January 2021

Thank you Gareth for the smile on your face that I will never forget... I will always remember your bacon sandwiches on Sundays (the best in the world with HP sauce!) that I miss so much! I have so many memories of visits at the pub, of family gatherings in Muswell Hill, of your passions for gardening, for jazz that you tried to teach us... I have always thought that a part of you was french... you were so good (and funny though) at trying to practice french with your lovely au pairs repeating « in-croy-able » all the time! I love the « professional » pictures we can see on this site, it’ s not THE Gareth I knew... the one we lived with was used to take his suit off at the very second he arrived home and got changed wearing tracksuits and shouting « Ginooooola » with a very young Robbie on your shoulders! (Sorry there must be other recent and famous Spurs players by now!), You know I was not good at talking about football but anyway... I would love to drink a pint with you (cider please!), a last one before you go... please... Meeting the 5 of you is one of the best things that happened in my life. We first met in 1998 I think, thanks to Féloche and you became my « London family » at the same time... I would like to go back in the past sometimes and live in London with you again to catch far more memories and keep them with me forever... Love you Shirl, Rhi, Gem and Rob, hope to meet you again soon in 2021 (if possible...) and your lovers and kids! Bye Ga... see you soon at the pub... Anne so
