Gareth left a long lasting, warm impact on every life he met. I will never forget that team Zoom call with Robbie and the rest of us when Gareth walked behind Robbie's work laptop mowing the lawn in the blazing summer heat of 2020 wearing nothing but a tiny pair of shorts (and these obscured from view) taking a host of Civil Servants somewhat by surprise, (and adding an entirely new dimension to a standard mundane meeting!). He made a day that would otherwise have been boring and dull, bright with laughter in just a few moments - even through a screen. Gareth joked about it with me, Robbie and others afterwards and I think this memory embodies what a humorous, positive man he was that so clearly brought a great light to so many lives. Gareth never took himself too seriously despite being so incredibly successful! He will live on in the memories of the hundreds and hundreds of lives he has touched and because of this, will never be truly gone.
