There's a growing Atmosphere today on our seafront that there is something very wrong .
The coast guard helicopter is hovering overhead as its scanning our southern coastline shores
What are they looking
for ?
Who are they looking for?
As the day goes on lifeboats, police , beach patrol and
volunteers are desperately searching our shores
Dusk draws in and their torches go scanning beach after beach after beach . Lights Flickering through the coloured beach huts as they go
Night falls they are still searching,
residents of Brighton and Hove are praying you'll be found.
The sea is lit up by the Search lights continuously scanning the coastline through the night.
We're in our homes , we're watching and never giving up hope
We go to bed and pray for good news in the morning
Sunday comes the sun shines brightly as we look out to sea , you are on our mind and we wait for news
and still the search continues.
As time goes on the hope is slowly fading that you will found safe but we must never give up hope
This sea is often so beautiful , but today it appears to have been so cruel .
It seems your world took a tragic path whilst walking with your dog
News comes in that a man called Gareth and his dog called Connie are missing !!!
This intense sunlight on the water today seems to be telling us how you both should be remembered
As the tide changes we'll never forget how you sacrificed yourself to the sea for the love of your beloved dog .
when the sunsets over our shoreline you'll both have left your mark here today
One man and his beloved dog
Gareth and Connie
Rest in peace
