Gareth was a role model for authenticity, professionalism, humour, passion, compassion and integrity. His presentations, articles and books have provided great inspiration globally and set a lighthouse with new standards for leadership. His advice and coaching have indeed transformed my personal leadership practice and teaching. We shared the passion for football, and his support for Spurs was admirable and contagious. Gareth was in many senses a gardener, and he has literally also kindly offered my wife and me advice on rose growing while walking in our garden. We developed and nurtured a close friendship, and I am very grateful for this. I am missing Gareth deeply, and my thoughts are with his lovely family. Lars
