Gar was one of the most generous, witty, kind, loving people I have ever met. I loved the chats we had, especially those on football and ales! He was such an inspiration and not only knowledgable but also a great listener! Words cannot explain how sad I feel to be writing this but I know that his memory will live on in all the people’s lives that were lucky enough to meet him in whatever capacity. The fact that he was trying to save his beloved Connie with no fear for himself sums up his character and the caring man that he was. Sleep safe Gar until we meet again! X
