Heartbreaking news, we are so very sorry for your loss.

I've only just made the connection between the sweet, friendly, smiley man I knew at Wickwoods, all along his face was extremely familiar to me with that beautiful, charming, easy smile, i really did think i knew him, but only today did i realise this was the  same man and thought leader that had such a major impact on me in my early years as an HR professional. I'd read his books and seen him speak several times - no wonder he looked familiar.

I alwasy thought of Gareth as the smiley, slightly cheeky (in a fun way) half of Goffee & Jones. His work influenced much of what i did over the years and indeed still today - I hope he'd be pleased to know that I'm still bashing on about organisation culutre and authentic leadership etc. If only I had realised that the gentle man sitting chilling out after tennis with my husband was THE Gareth Jones - i would have bought him a coffee and said thank you for being such and inspiration all these years.
