I have such vivid childhood memories that feature Gareth and the family. I will never forget the hot summer's day in Tuscany when, to our horror, a snake slithered under the table during lunch and made us all jump onto our chairs! Gareth had a unique ability to make anyone around him laugh and he brought a smile to the face of many a Spurs fan in the pub after each home game, which he would attend religiously, even after moving to Brighton -- what commitment! There are no words to describe this unimaginable loss.
